Which is not to say that Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock doesn't sound appealing - it does, and it's quite descriptive so we suppose it ticks all the boxes.
That said, if Gearbox keep upping the word count on Borderlands 3's successive DLCs, they should really consider having hardcover and paperback editions of the title alone. Maybe even have a preface written by someone wordy. Krieg maybe? Heck, we'd buy that in an instant.
Now that we're done poking fun - Guns, Love, and Tentacles launches on 26 March 2020 and Gearbox wrote, "A couple of familiar faces will be among the guests at the betrothed partners' engagement celebration: former Vault Hunter Gaige is moonlighting as a wedding planner, joined as always by her badass robot BFF Deathtrap. Pay no attention to the gargantuan monster's corpse nearby; this party's going to be legendary!"
It certainly sounds like a lovely procession, 'till death does us apart and all that, although its warmth will depend on whether you mean the marriage or the setting. Xylourgos is a harsh, windswept ice world that's full of wild beasts and occultists alike.
While it goes without saying that Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock requires Borderlands 3 to play, Gearbox will allow freshly created Vault Hunters to bypass the opening acts of and head straight for Xylourgos. Enemies and loot will scale accordingly as well.
