Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary is now available for Switch players. Those who downloaded the free DLC prequel to Borderlands 3 are experiencing serious crashes.
Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary - the new DLC for Borderlands 2 on Switch was released yesterday but now there are reports of the game crashing pouring in from all sides. The players have been experiencing crashes ever since this update went live.
Some Redditors have managed to find a couple of solutions and posted them on the Borderlands Switch subreddit but there are some players who are still experiencing the same issues in spite of trying the suggested fix.
The 2K support Twitter account has replied to some of the messages, asking the players to submit a ticket so they can figure out what is causing the rampant crashes. At the time of writing, there is no information on when a fix will be rolled out.
Borderlands 2's DLC Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary is now available for free to anyone who owns Borderlands: Legendary Collection or Borderlands: The Handsome Collection on Switch.
You can add the fifth campaign add-on for Borderlands 2 to your account via the Nintendo eShop.

Players can expect to battle Dahl forces and various mutations of the local flora and fauna in unexplored areas of Pandora. there are some new bosses to encounter and score some sweet Effervescent loot as well as customization options for your Vault Hunters and vehicles.
To install this campaign add-on search the Nintendo eShop for "Borderlands" then download the "Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary" DLC. Once the download is finished, launch Borderlands 2 as usual.
To access Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary content after installing it, travel to the new "Fight for Sanctuary" location from any Fast Travel station.
The DLC will be available for free until December 3.
