Blizzard have announced Diablo Immortal and while one might think the next installment in this franchise would generate a ton of fan hype, it was quite the opposite - fans hated the announcement. The reason? Blizzard made it mobile.
Diablo Immortal will feature six classes - Barbarian, Monk, Wizard, Crusader, Demon Hunter and Necromancer. Blizzard are developing the game in partnership with NetEase. There is currently no ETA on the game, but the platforms and the price are known - it will be a free to play mobile game.

These reactions probably stem from the fact that fans were hoping for Diablo 4, remasters of Diablo and Diablo 2 or even a major update to Diablo 3. Instead, they were treated to a mobile free-to-play-but-expensive-to-enjoy cash cow that some fans even is just a reskin of another NetEase game.
You can find more about the game on the , but do not expect any explosive blood and gore you're used to in Diablo games, as the shown gameplay didn't feature a drop of blood. It probably doesn't align with the tastes of the target audience, mobile gamers.
