Souls-like action RPG Black Myth: Wukong from Chinese developer Game Science has a brand new trailer, showcasing new areas, combos and most importantly, new boss fights.
Back in August 2020, Black Myth: Wukong took the gaming community by the storm with a stunning announcement trailer which showcased souls-like combat with gorgeous, next-gen visuals. Not a lot has been said about the game since the Chinese developer Game Science revealed that trailer but today, we have brand new gameplay footage of Black Myth: Wukong.
The trailer reveals a ton of new locations, enemy types, spells and combo moves but the most intriguing part of the showcase are certainly the game's boss fights, which look spectacular. The animations, as well as visuals in these boss fights, are second to none and if we had to compare it to another game, we would say Demon's Souls Remake comes close.
Each boss fight also has this cinematic feel to it, which is something that will help with the overall immersion. You can check out the trailer below:
In case you are not familiar with the game, Black Myth: Wukong is inspired by the classic myth of The Monkey King. The developers confirmed they plan to release the game on PC as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. As for the release date, there is nothing specific just yet but Game Science did say they are aiming to release Black Myth: Wukong by 2023.
