The developer behind titles like Fallout and Skyrim teased a new chapter of The Elder Scrolls universe. With Skyrim being one of the most played games of it's time, fans have anticipated the continuation of the franchise for a while.

The teaser for the TES VI was shrouded in mystery, knowing how Bethesda likes to keep secrets we got a chance to see some landscape with only speculation pointing towards the possibility that the game might be placed in Hammerfell or High Rock. Developers said that the game is in pre-production which means it might be a long time before its release.

Alongside TES VI, Todd Howard of Bethesda announced a new game named The Elder Scrolls Blades. The aptly named TES Blades will follow the story line of the Blades who were once protectors of the emperors in Tamriel. You return to your hometown just to see it destroyed. Howard said how the game will be a "massive first-person RPG with console-quality graphics".

At the Bethesda's E3 showcase they displayed the combat system with touch controls, inventory, and dungeons with outdoor areas that look pretty well designed. Players will also be able to customise their character however they want. TES Blades will be available for free just like Fallout Shelter. The new title will feature a couple of interesting things like being able to customise the entire town according to Howard, and a mode called „The Abyss“ in which players fight for survival for as long as they can.

With the already mentioned possibilities, you will be able to PVP and visit your friend's town along with the most notable feature of the whole showcase. Blades will feature a new and unique ability to play the game in the portrait mode.

With the previous success of The Elder Scrolls games, we can see why Bethesda would want to work on the franchise, the last chapter The Elder Scrolls Skyrim is still being widely played with a huge mod support from the community. The Elder Scroll Blades will be releasing this fall on mobile, PC, VR and console platforms with the feature to play cross-platform. Players will have a chance to apply for early access via this .
