EA and Dice have finally confirmed the reveal date for the next Battlefield game. It's coming on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 7:00 AM PDT / 4:00 PM CEST.
Well, it finally happened. EA and Dice have confirmed the reveal date for the highly-anticipated shooter Battlefield. The game will officially be revealed next week on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 7:00 AM PDT / 4:00 PM CEST. The reveal event will be live-streamed on the Battlefield YouTube channel.
Check out the official teaser below:
As you can see, it looks like the rumours were legit, the game could indeed be titled simply Battlefield, not Battlefield 6 as many players expected. This means that the reports about this year's Battlefield being a soft reboot for the series could be true after all.
Anyway, that's about everything that EA and Dice decided to tell us today so guess all of us will have to tune in for the world premiere next week.
As for the game and the rumours that have been circulating online since forever, it's been said that Battlefield will be set in the modern-day, focusing on a conflict between the USA and Russia. Other rumours state that the game will be launching later this year on both last-gen and next-gen consoles, PC and surprisingly Xbox Game Pass. Guess we will get more details about that on Xbox Games Showcase if the rumours are indeed legit.
