AGDQ 2020 is the winter part of Games Done Quick charity speedruns that kicks off early each year. Three months before the event starts, the organisers have announced all the featured games and runs that will be there for everyone to see.
As per usual, we singled out a few runs that look particularly interesting, such as Destiny 2 Last Wish raid with a timer set on 30 minutes. Normally, this would sound like much of a feat, but the team consisting of Alexy Sinclair, ThePackle, Milkman, Traderkirk, Tokeegee and Shockwve are aiming to take down all the bosses in that time stretch.
Another interesting but fairly long run is that of tomatoangus, who will attempt to beat all the mainline Fallout games in two hours and five minutes. This includes Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4. The ruleset is any% so expect a lot of glitching and other speedrunning tricks but it still sounds incredibly impressive to see five Fallout games beaten in just over two hours.
Each AGDQ event tends to have some exotic performances and this one is not different. Two speedrunners, zallard1 and sinister1 will attempt to go through Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! in 35 minutes, going for any% but with two players on one controller.
Those looking for even more odd performances, TASBot will be taking on a pile of runs this time around so puny mortals can witness the code's perfection.
