Pokemon Go is getting highly exciting at the end of February 2022 as a Tour will happen and then morph into powerful new allies you can acquire.

Pokemon Go Tour: Johto is happening on February 26, 2022, and it will have two different experiences for ticket holders - Gold and Silver versions.

    • have a chance to appear as Shiny Pokemon
  • Debuting as Shiny Pokemon:
    • Girafarig
    • Corsola
    • Remoraid
    • Tyrogue
    • Mantine (only in Gold)
    • Phanpy (only in Silver)
    • Unown (G, J, O, R, T and U) - attracted to Incense

Depending on your ticket version, different Pokemon will have a higher chance of appearing as Shiny.

Ticket holders of either version can complete Pokemon Go Tour: Johto special research to unlock Masterwork Research line, which will take longer to complete by design.

Progressing the Masterwork Research can lead to encountering Legendary Shadow Pokemon - Apex Shadow Ho-Oh and Apex Shadow Lugia. Purifying them makes the Pokemon even stronger.

    • Knows Sacred Fire+, stronger than regular Sacred Fire
      • Trainer battles: 130 Power
      • Gyms and raids: 135 Power
    • Purified version has Sacred Fire++
      • Trainer Battles: 130 Power
      • Gyms and raids: 155 Power
  • Apex Shadow Lugia
    • Knows Aeroblas+, stronger than regular Aeroblast
      • Trainer battles: 170 Power
      • Gyms and raids: 200 Power
    • Purified version has Aeroblast++
      • Trainer battles: 170 Power
      • Gyms and Raids: 225 Power
