Apex Legends, the game that stormed into the battle royale scene in 2019, has now reached its fifth year milestone. To commemorate this achievement, Respawn Entertainment is hosting the Apex Legends 2024 Anniversary Event, promising players a slew of exciting new content and experiences.
The event will include a new Limited Time Mode (LTM) called Straight Shot, with no jumpmaster and reduced teams.
The Anniversary Collection Event will feature 9 legendary character skins, 150 Heirloom Shards, and a new recolor of Octane's butterfly knife.

In the Year 5 Anniversary Collection Event, players can expect to find 9 legendary character skins tailored for the following legends:
- Mirage
- Bangalore
- Catalyst
- Octane
- Loba
- Wraith
- Seer
- Pathfinder
- Valkyrie
Heirloom Shards
Collecting all the items from the Anniversary Collection Event will reward players with 150 Heirloom Shards. These shards can be used to unlock any available Heirloom or Prestige skin, with the newest addition being a recolor of Octane’s butterfly knife, sporting a unique blue tint.
New LTM Straight Shot
The highlight of the event is the introduction of the new Limited Time Mode (LTM) called Straight Shot. This mode promises an intense, action-packed experience with features such as:
- No Jumpmaster, as players spawn in set locations alongside another team.
- Reduced number of teams (down to 30).
- Fully kitted weapons with varying rarities to expedite the combat experience.
Free Community Reward Tracker
Throughout the duration of the Collection Event, players can earn free cosmetic items by accumulating points.
The event rewards include:
- Ballistic Skin
- Bloodhound Skin
- R-99 Skin
- Prowler Skin
- Loading Screen, Banners, and trackers.
