According to the latest leaks, the rumoured Apex Legends character Revenant could be the next in line to join the battle royale's legends roster. Apparently, Revenant will be introduced during the Halloween event.
Respawn Entertainment's battle royale Apex Legends has been a subject of many leaks and rumours since its release back in February 2019. The leaks mostly revealed details from the data mined game files and these included new characters, game modes, items and more.
Recently, well-known Apex Legends data miner and leaker, That1MiningGuy tweeted a photo , showing the upcoming characters and one of these characters was the already released Crypto while another one was a mysterious champion named Revenant.
In one of the leaks from That1MiningGuy, we got first clues from the game files that reveal when exactly Revenant will arrive. The leaker shared a description of one of the Halloween game modes, which is coming in just a couple of days and the description states that "for a limited time, a warped version of the Apex games will be hosted at night in an abandoned Kings Canyon, by a mysterious figure, only known as Revenant."
A couple of days ago, That1MiningGuy also shared a screenshot from Apex Legends, which shows the new character Revenant on one of the banners on the map. You can take a closer look at it below.
Last but not least, we also have a first look at Revenant's passive, tactical and ultimate abilities named Freak of Nature, Dodge Roll and Leap and Smoke Bomb, respectively. Unfortunately, the quality of the shared screenshot is pretty bad so we don't know the details on these abilities.
All in all, a lot of new clues suggesting that Respawn Entertainment could surprise players with the second brand new character in just a couple of weeks. Whether Revenant becomes a permanent character or Respawn's plan is to offer it for a limited time only, it remains to be seen.
Apex Legends is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
