Seer popped up, everyone called him overpowered for a good reason and now he is getting kicked in the shins by Respawn Entertainment.
Seer's kit was way overloaded when he popped up in Apex Legends, which is usually the case with new characters in just about any game. However, this one was so oppressive that opposing teams either had a Seer of their own to balance the broken scales out or were just at a straight-up disadvantage, which is the reason why Respawn reacted so quickly and deployed a potent nerf.
The passive will now ping in 1.75s intervals and the range has been reduced overall. On top of that, the field of view is now lower to Seer won't be gathering as much intel as he used to, even if you ignore the ping interval changes.
His tactical ability also got hit pretty hard as it no longer damages or flashes the affected enemies. Screen rumble has also been decreased but the interrupt and silence are remaining as they are.
Seer's ultimate also saw a 30 per cent increase in cooldown as it moved from 90 to 120 seconds, significantly changing the game play for those who liked to jump into the action often while being able to see everyone engaged in a firefight.
