Respawn Entertainment released a few balance changes that should help the players have a better time in Apex Legends over the weekend.

Apex Legends is pretty competitive in certain circumstances and the fact that Respawn decided to release a balance pass at the end of a Friday testifies to how much effort is being invested in keeping a level playing field. That said, while the changes were well received, fans did note the lack of some other nerfs they would have loved to witness.

Anyway, Triple Take was found to be performing a little too well so its headshot multiplier has gone down to 1.75.

EVA-8 will not be as lethal at close range since each pellet will now do six damage but given the semi-automatic nature of the gun, it shouldn't be too much of an issue for experienced players who can reliably put enough pellets in their targets.

G7 Scout wasn't performing well enough for the care package status apparently as the devs increased the reserve ammo to 140 as well as the headshot multiplier, which is now a flat two. In other words, precise shooters will have a field day but those who are more on the spraying side will also have an easier time.

Besides the two nerfs and buff, Respawn introduced a few other changes by removing Double Tap hop-up from crafting and a kill trigger that would sometimes cause wrongful deaths when players fall underneath the map.

Furthermore, the third-person easter egg has returned to the firing range so go and give it a few shots while looking good with your Legend out.
