PlayStation 5 exclusive survival horror title Abandoned will get a trailer app on July 29, 2021, with the introduction available on August 10 followed by the first trailer later in August.
"We're excited to announce that the Abandoned Trailers App will be available to preload free of charge for all PS5 users on July 29 with the introduction available on August 10 followed by the first trailer later in August."
That is probably the most confusing gameplay trailer announcement we have ever seen. Try to guess which date is the actual date when we will see the trailer.
It seems that these announcements from Blue Box Game Studios are purposefully confusing, just like their previous tweets, which fueled speculation that this is a Silent Hill game actually, not some small indie title.
The devs seem to enjoy the attention they are getting from Hideo Kojima and Silent Hill fans and we don't blame them but it's a double-edged sword these guys are playing with and we doubt they will enjoy the undeserved but inevitable backlash once Abandoned is revealed as Abandoned, not a brand new Silent Hill game from Hideo Kojima.
Anyway, Abandoned should be launching later this year, exclusively for PlayStation 5. Other platforms like PlayStation 4 and PC are yet to be announced and given the scope of the Blue Box Game Studios, we doubt they will port the game to these platforms.
