Polish website Puls Biznesu reports that 11 bit studios are postponing the release of their survival adventure The Alters to 2025. This certainly doesn't come as a surprise since we haven't been seeing much of the game over the last several weeks which should've been crucial for the game's marketing since The Alters was supposed to be launching in 2024.
11 bit studios said in the article that they need more time to polish the game and give the players the best experience possible. In addition, they also plan to boost the marketing campaign in order to reach more players and that's why they need to push the release date to 2025.
At the moment, there is no confirmation from 11 bit studios official social media channels but the announcement is probably imminent now that the developer confirmed the news to the press.
At the moment, we also don't know when exactly 11 bit studios plan to release The Alters in 2025. If we had to guess, we'd say the game could be targeting Q1 2025. Such a delay certainly wouldn't be too bad but it's still more than enough time to allow devs to further optimise and polish The Alters.
