Gears 5 to remove all tobacco references

The Coalition, the team behind the upcoming Gears of War instalment Gears 5, has announced they'll be removing all tobacco smoking references from the game. The decision comes after talks with anti-smoking organisation Truth Initiative.

Microsoft revealed the preliminary system requirements for Gears 5 that are technically not the final word but they should be a good indicator of what to expect once the game is out. Do not get fooled by the low disk space requirement.

Gears 5 developers, The Coalition confirmed in their latest blog post that the game won't contain loot boxes and won't come with a season pass. Instead, the devs will release free DLC content that will include maps, supply drops and more.

Gears of War 4 moving Crossplay into Ranked

Gears of War 4 will see Crossplay move from the Social to the Ranked playlists. The change won't come right away, but over the course of the next few months. Xbox players will be able to choose whether they want to play against the Windows 10 players or not.
