How to solve Water Harp puzzle
During your exploration of the Forbidden Grove in Yaesha, you will encounter a sizable mechanism adorned with numerous gears, along with a music box and a lever adjacent to it. This area is situated immediately after you meet the Flautist, who imparts vital information that the Water Harp is the key to facing the Ravager, the formidable boss of the realm.
Before embarking on the puzzle-solving endeavour, it's essential to activate the gear system positioned behind the two nearby locked doors. If you haven't already done so, thoroughly explore the area and follow the entrances marked with yellow exclamation points. These paths will guide you to the location of the gear lever, where you can initiate the activation process.
After successfully activating the gears, exit through the nearby door, and on one of the tables, you'll discover a journal containing a crucial clue on its first page. The journal explains the process of activating the music sequence that initiates the raising of the bridge. Despite its complexity, this information will be essential to progressing further.
Upon inspecting the first page of the journal, you'll notice that the same symbols are depicted on the point of the Water Harp. If you're uncertain about the correct placement of the pegs on the harp's point, follow these steps to ensure a successful arrangement.
- Lift the peg on the most right symbol of the first row
- The second row must stay clear (with no pegs lifted)
- Lift the peg beneath the fourth symbol in the third row
- The fourth row must stay clear (with no pegs lifted)
- Lift the peg beneath the third symbol in the fifth row
- Lift the peg beneath the fourth symbol in the sixth row
- Lift the peg beneath the first symbol in the seventh row
- The eighth row must stay clear (with no pegs lifted)
After aligning the pegs as previously instructed, exit the Water Harp setup and proceed to pull the lever located to the left of the music box. If you have executed the steps correctly, you'll hear the same melody that the Flautist continuously plays, and the bridge leading to the final boss fight will ascend. Be prepared for a challenging battle that will undoubtedly test your skills and determination.
