How to beat the Nightweaver boss
Once you activate the web in the asylum basement and enter the haunted asylum, make your way to the courtyard through the crystal door, where the boss encounter will commence.
During the first phase of the Nightweaver boss fight, she employs four types of attacks, with one being undefendable as she moves towards you. The initial attack can be evaded, but the subsequent ground-hitting strike cannot be avoided. To effectively tackle this phase, using a mod that inflicts fire damage is recommended. Evade all attacks except when she summons minions, as this is her vulnerable moment.
By using fire attacks at this point, you can smoothly progress through the first stage with minimal difficulty. The key to success lies in minimising damage taken during the initial phase and, ideally, refraining from using any healing items.
During the second phase of the fight, Nightweaver becomes much more challenging and employs sneakier attacks while summoning additional minions. In this stage, it is essential not to simply mash the dodge button but to focus on precise dodging of her attacks. Nightweaver may unleash two or even three attacks in succession, so learning to recognise these patterns becomes crucial for your success in the battle.
When the boss sends minions your way, they often cling to the ceiling above the stairs. At that moment, switch your weapon to fire mode and concentrate your attacks on the boss while cautiously retreating from the approaching minions. Dodge their attacks when they get close. By employing this strategy, you can swiftly defeat Nightweaver and emerge victorious in the battle.
