How to solve the puzzles within Cathedral of Omens
Upon entering the cathedral, your attention will be drawn to a sizable mechanism positioned in the centre of the room. This mechanism can be manipulated using three levers strategically placed around it. By controlling these levers, you can manipulate circuits on the ceiling that create images on the floor using the interplay of shadows and light.
Among the three levers, one is responsible for controlling the triangular symbol, another for the circles, and the last one for the symbols within the circles.
Upon entering the room to the right of the entrance, you will find a desk with a journal resting on it. Inside this journal, you'll discover vital clues that will aid you in solving the puzzles. Alongside the symbols displayed on the first page, there are three stories contained within the journal. Pay particular attention to "The Calamity" and "The Blood Moon" stories, as the symbols within these narratives correspond to the symbols found above the locked doors.
To begin, utilise the lever controlling the triangular symbol to align it with the door you wish to unlock. If you opt to unlock "The Calamity" door, take note of the three symbols mentioned in the story: The Ravager, The Doe, and Death.
Next, locate the lever responsible for controlling the circles and adjust it to reveal three circles. Then, proceed to the third lever and place the symbols for The Ravager, The Doe, and Death within the three circles. Once completed, you will hear a distinct sound indicating that the door has been successfully unlocked.
After collecting the loot from the first unlocked room, return to tackle the second puzzle. Refer to "The Blood Moon" story in the journal, where you'll find the symbols of the Sun, Moon, and The Ravager mentioned. These three symbols must be inserted into the three circles. Before doing so, ensure that the triangular symbol is adjusted to match the symbol above the door. Once all the symbols are correctly placed, another door will open, revealing two chambers filled with abundant loot.
