Hollow Knight: Silksong throws you into the deep end early, and your first boss encounter sets the tone for the challenging journey ahead. While this initial fight serves as an introduction to Silksong's refined combat mechanics, it can still catch players off guard with some of its moves and timing requirements.
Understanding the boss's moveset and developing the right strategy will make this encounter much more manageable, setting you up for success as you venture deeper into the kingdom of Pharloom.
How to easily beat Moss Mother boss?
Moss Mother has only three simple attacks. Her flying attack where she's using her sting. This attack can be easily avoided by simply jumping over the boss as she's flying towards you. Use this opprotuinty to strike her a couple of times while she recovers from the attack.
Her other, even easier attack is the falling rocks. Take note of the dust lines, which will tell you where the rocks will fall down and avoid these areas.
And finally, her third attack is spawning of small larvae. You can deal with these fairly easily but keep in mind that she'll use them as distraction for their flying stinging attack. Jump over her and then take care of the larvae.
