Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, titled Wrecked, introduced a new post-apocalyptic theme in collaboration with franchises such as Mad Max, Fallout and Marvel's X-Men. The new storyline for Chapter 5 Season 3 is heavily inspired by Mad Max's post-apocalyptic vehicle culture. The map includes new bosses and POIs, such as the Nitrodome.
In the v30.20 update, Epic Games added the last of the story quests before the release of the Chapter 5 Season 4 update, which tasked players with a heist of the Pandora Gem. Here's a guide on how to complete the new The Great Leviathan Heist story questline.
The Great Leviathan Heist Story Quests
The new Great Leviathan Heist questline requires players to steal the Pandora Gem by completing a few in-game challenges. After stealing the Pandora Gem, players must deliver it to Hope to complete the story quests for Chapter 5 Season 3. Here are all the challenges in the new Great Leviathan Heist questline in Fortnite:
- Coordinate the plan with Peabody at Pea Bois HQ
- The first quest requires players to meet up and complete the heist plan with Peabody at the Pea Bois HQ in the Wasteland biome.
- Destroy 30 objects at wasteland locations, then eliminate 10 wasteland guards or blow up 10 vehicles, and finally deal 500 damage to players with vehicle weapons, bumpers, or Nitro Fists.
- Find Megalo Don and damage him to acquire his Secret Map
- Eliminate Megalo Don and claim the secret map from him.
- Travel to Megalo Don's hidden stash to find the Pandora Gem
- After claiming the map, head to the tall rocks between Cliffside Lodge and No Moored Manor.
- Break open Megalo Don's hidden cache and collect the Pandora Gem
- Deliver the final Pandora Gem to Hope
- After stealing the Pandora Gem, deliver it to Hope, who resides at Sandy Steppes POI.
For completing each challenge in the new Great Leviathan Heist questline, players will receive 15,000 XP with a total of 90,000 XP for completing the full questline. Aside from that, there are no exclusive rewards associated with the Great Leviathan Heist questline.
