Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has been a great season for players considering the amount of content they received in the last few months. Starting with the Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover event, Fortnite has now moved to the new Star Wars collaboration event in celebration of Star Wars day.
Like previous Star Wars crossover events, the 2024 Fortnite x Star Wars event has brought in new skins for players to purchase, a new mini LEGO battle pass and in-game Star Wars weapons. The Star Wars weapons are now available in Zero Build and Battle Royale game modes and here's how you can get them in-game.
How to find the new Star Wars weapons in Star Wars
With the recent collaboration between Fortnite and Star Wars players are getting the opportunity to use three weapons from the world of Star Wars in-game. Here's how you can find them in-game:
- Darth Vader's Lightsaber: The most iconic weapon from the Star Wars universe, the blade of the fallen angel Anakin Skywalker can be obtained by defeating Darth Vader at the new Piney Lane POI of the current map.
- E-11 Blaster: The powerful, light and compact weapon is the standard-issue blaster rifle of the Imperial stormtroopers. The E-11 Blaster is obtainable by defeating Stormtroopers or by searching Imperial chests at any Imperial Roadblocks on the current map.
- Wookie Bowcaster: Chewbacca's iconic weapon is obtainable by rescuing the Wookie himself or by simply searching Imperial chests found across the current map.
While the new Stars Wars weapons are quite powerful, Darth Vader's lightsaber stays leagues ahead due to its unique ability of allowing players to block all incoming shots. So, if you're aiming to get your hands on the lightsaber stay prepared as Darth Vader's POI will become a hot spot for remainder of the season.
