Blizzard's gamescom 2017 lineup

Blizzard will bring all kinds of cool content to gamescom 2017. Overwatch is getting a brand new map, Heathstone will get a new Hero and WoW will see its European Championship come to a close. More information will be revealed on Monday, 21 August.

The Overwatch League has two more teams

Two more teams from The Overwatch League have been acquired. The team for London was purchased by Jack Etienne of Cloud9, and Stan and Josh Kroenke purchased a team for Los Angeles.

Overwatch - Summer Games are live

Overwatch's Summer Games are now live. The standard Loot Box has been replaced with a special Summer Games box, and LucioBall has a new map. Last year's items are available at a discount.

Overwatch Summer Games event starts next week

The Overwatch Summer Games event from 2016 will be making another appearance in 2017. This time around there is a new Lúcioball stadium, some changes and nerfs to that mode's mechanics, and you guessed it - skins and lootbox things, new and old.

Back in May, Blizzard celebrated Overwatch's first anniversary with a new seasonal event, a free weekend and a digital GotY edition. Now, a physical Overwatch: Game of the Year Edition will hit the shelves on 28 July.

Doomfist has entered the PTR

Overwatch players can finally play as Doomfist, albeit in the PTR. People seem to like him. The patch that brought the latest Doomfist into Overwatch also packed the new highlights system and some changes to the game's lootboxes.

Doomfist teased as the next Overwatch hero

Blizzard published an in-universe blog post detailing the events that unfolded at Helix Security International's classified maximum security installation before the Numbani airport attack. The post was heavily geared towards Akande Ogundimu a.k.a. the next Doomfist.
