Overwatch players are toxic because Blizzard says so?

Overwatch's toxicity issue continues to become more and more serious. A banned player started a thread on the Battle.net forum and Overwatch Game Director responded. Jeff Kaplan's response completely missed the point and blamed the ban on the player's toxic chat behaviour instead of his poor play-style.

Overwatch: Winter Wonderland 2017 patch

Winter Wonderland 2017 patch has introduced a new notification system to Overwatch. Players will now receive in-game notifications instead of e-mails. New character skins, highlight intros and emotes are available.

Overwatch getting patched all over the place

Overwatch for PC, PlayStaion 4 and Xbox One received a new patch today. The new patch fixes Moira and matchmaking in Competitive play. Doomfist received several fixes in a patch that's now live in the PTR.

Overwatch World Cup will be made all the more fun and watchable with the new team uniforms, an updated UI, a third person smart camera and more. The Uniform concept will premiere at BlizzCon on 03 and 04 November.

Concerned individuals are petitioning the UK government to consider regulation for loot box systems in video games. The rationale behind the petition is that various loot box systems represent a form of gambling embedded into video games and should be regarded as such by the law.
