For a limited time, Polish online retailer X-Kom offered their customers a free copy of Bethesda's Fallout 76 with every set of $5 PS4 controller thumbsticks. The store is now out of thumbsticks but Fallout 76 for PS4 is still in stock.

It looks like some retailers are having a hard time when it comes to selling Bethesda's latest title - Fallout 76. Even with a huge price drop just one week after launch, Fallout 76 can still be found in numerous sale and combo deals.

One of these combo deals comes from Polish online retailer X-Kom. In order to boost the sales of Dualshock 4 thumbsticks, the store decided to offer players a free copy of Fallout 74 for PlayStation 4.

The promo offer was available for a price of 19 Polish Zloty which is $5. If you visit the promo page now, you'll see that the original price was set at $70 which means X-Kom offered the two items at a huge 93 per cent discount.

While the PlayStation 4 version of Fallout 76 is still available for the original, $70 price, the promo offer is currently out of stock just like the $5 PS4 thumbsticks. It's safe to say that Fallout 76 did its part in boosting sales of the thumbsticks.

Just a couple of weeks earlier, a Gamestop store in Germany held a similar promo sale, but instead of thumbsticks, they offered Fallout 76 with used Dualshock 4 controllers.

All these promotions, bundles and combo deals appear to highlight Bethesda's efforts to sell Fallout 76 by any means necessary. Ever since the game launched, the publisher was under massive criticism from many players for many questionable decisions.

In addition to game-breaking bugs and exploits, Bethesda had problems with Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition bags after the advertised high-quality canvas bags turned out to be a cheap nylon stand-in.

Just when one fiasco ended, Bethesda started shipping $80 Special Edition rum bottles turned out to be simple glass bottles in cheap plastic cover.
