Nacon released an update for WRC 9, featuring new maps, vehicles and more but it's only the last-gen consoles and PC that can enjoy it for the time being.
Nacon and KT Racing unleashed the second free update for WRC 9 on November 7, 2020. Owners of the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on PC can now download it and enjoy the new content.
The new generation of consoles - PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will get the same update at a later date but there is currently no ETA on deployment.
Players will get several goodies with the new download:
- GR Yaris Rally Concept from Toyota GAZOO Racing
- Six new stages to compete in the Rally Portugal
- Co-Driver mode which allows two players to race in the same car
- New Livery - Pirelli Tyre Team
That's not all, however, and KT Racing have been pushing forward with additional features that the WRC 9 players can enjoy ever since the game's release. Some of these include three new rallies such as Japan, New Zealand and Kenya or over 50 official teams and their featured livery from WRC, WRC 2, WRC 3 and Junior WRC.
Those looking for some unique vehicles can acquire 15 bonus cars that have become iconic in the sport or enjoy the new Clubs mode where players can tailor championships to their liking.
