Valve's money-making machine MOBA, Dota 2, is about to restart its engines with the new Battle Pass that will contribute to The International 2019 prize pool. It features 2,000 tiers with rewards in just about every aspect of the game.

Battle Pass 2019 will come in different tiers, just like always, with each tier being of different price and starting level. The regular one is $9.99 / €9.99 where players will kick off at level 1.

Level 50 and 100 Battle Passes will cost $29.35 / €29.35 and $44.99 / €49.99. Those who want to progress through levels faster can also purchase 24 levels at the price of $9.99 / €9.99.

The Battle Pass 2019 may have announced a pile of cosmetics but there will also be a new event coming to Dota 2, called Wrath of the Mo'Rokai. Players will be able to collect energy crystals all over the map and feed them to Mo'Rokai, who will eventually join their creeps in one lane and push the enemy structures.

Players will be able to progress Battle Pass faster and unlock additional cosmetics with the Jungle Expedition, which will be a maze of pathways they can navigate by winning with specific heroes.

One highlighted new cosmetic will be the Living Towers that will change the looks of the existing ones, making their appearance resemble stone golems.

Axe Unleashed will probably be the cosmetic everyone will want from this Battle Pass though. While it removes the hero's actual axe from his appearance, his brutish new animations will more than make up for it. This Axe will pummel, kick and spin like Zangief from Street Fighter, which will likely be more than enough to entice players into chasing the reward.

Those who reach level 2,000 in the Battle Pass will get a Baby Roshan statuette as well a similar replacement for the in-game monster.

Valve also announced a pile of quality of life features such as Party Finder, Avoid Player and MVP Voting which should help improve the player experience by avoiding toxic teammates and rewarding the productive ones.
