Twitch and SNK Corporation teamed up for cross-promotion of the former's subscription and the latter's classic games as the service will offer 22 titles, with the first batch starting next week.
Twitch Prime subscribers will be able to collect the first seven games on May 26, 2020. This is the first batch out of the total of 22 titles that will make it to freebie list over the course of the year. They are technically not free because they require the subscription but the offer is still a great value for money regardless.
The first batch will contain the following games:
- Art of Fighting 2
- Blazing Star
- Fatal Fury Special
- The King of Fighters 2000
- The King of Fighters 2002
- Samurai Shodown 2
As per usual, you will need Twitch launcher in order to get the games running. The trailer below states that the games will keep coming "all year" which possibly means there will be several months between each drop.
Furthermore, the trailer offered a glimpse of the games that will be added to the promotion later on. These include, but are not limited to:
- Garou: Mark of the Wolves
- The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match
- King of the Monsters
- Metal Slug 2
- Sengoku 3
- The Last Blade 2
In case you like the classic arcade games, it may be worth checking out the trailer or the promotional subscription to Twitch.
