Earlier this week, Season 3 update finally arrived to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, adding a ton of fresh stuff including new maps, cosmetics and weapons. However, Infinity Ward and Activision also removed some fan-favourite playlists such as Trios mode in Warzone in favour of the new Quads mode.
As expected, the majority of Call of Duty: Warzone community did not like this decision and have been pretty vocal about it over on social media and Reddit. Players claim that Quads is not as fun as Trios mode, which is a more balanced experience and fits the map size perfectly.
Luckily, Infinity Ward have re-introduced Trios modes in the latest playlist update, which is now live on all platforms. The developers confirmed this over on Twitter.
Now, whether this means that Quads or Solos will be removed soon, it remains to be seen. Hopefully, that won't be the case since the community has been craving Solos, Duos, Trios and Squads as a standard playlist, that should be available all the time.
All in all, it is nice to see that Infinity Ward are listening to their community and hopefully, we will soon see other fan-favourite playlists in the game such as Shoot the Ship, which has quickly become one of the most popular modes in the game.
