Choices, concequences and playing beyond death
Torment: Tieds of Numenera and its venerable spiritual predecessor have a very strong focus on player choice and an ever morphing narrative. A new interactive trailer for the game has been released, elaborating on how narrative mechanics will work in the game, as well as giving some insight into the world inXile's title takes place in.
An interesting thing to note is that failure in certain situations can have significantly better rewards in store for the player further along in the game. Death is also explained as not ending the game, giving the player the option of enjoying the experience without the need for binding quicksave and quickload to the left and right mouse buttons.
