There are many reasons why installing GOG Galaxy is a smart and neat way to wield all your launchers and libraries, but if you needed more reasons - here goes.

First and foremost, GOG Galaxy won't cost you a penny. Quite the contrary, in fact, as you're likely to get a few more freebies down the line, in addition to The Witcher: Enhanced Edition.

Note that there's no way to pick up The Witcher: Enhanced Edition for free without downloading GOG's client.

"Download or update your GOG GALAXY application. Go to the "Recent" view and check the banner at the top. Click the giveaway button if you agree to receive news, updates, and GOG offers. After a while, the game will show up in your games library inside the application and in your GOG.COM collection", the dev wrote.

The benefits are significant, though, especially for players looking for the One Launcher to Launch Them All. CD Projekt Red indeed pulled off full integration with Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, Origin, and Uplay.

Even though the anti-Epic voices significantly subsided since those initial reactions, Sweeney and Co's decision to add another launcher to a market already crowded with them was treated as the ultimate evil.

So, if your gripe was merely with the Epic Games Store launcher, you can pretty much circumvent it and keep staring at GOG Galaxy's friendly, pro-player face.

You can also benefit from linking Cyberpunk 2077 to your GOG Galaxy account once it launches, without having to buy it via CDPR's platform. Yes, regardless of where you bought it from - Epic, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox or other Cyberpunk 2077 versions will work just fine, and you'll get some Geralt-themed in-game swag in return.
