A third person post-apocalyptic shooter The Day Before has a new release date. The game is now set to launch on November 10, 2023. The devs also promise this will be the last delay.
Fntastic have officially announced a new release date for their highly anticipated open-world MMO survival game named The Day Before . The game is now scheduled to release on November 10, 2023, for PC , PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
In their announcement, Fntastic promised that this will be the final delay for a game that was already delayed several times. The team thanked the players for their patience and added that as the release date gets closer, they will be conducting a beta test to give everyone the opportunity to try the game before launch.
You can find the full statement from Fntastic below.
Here is the statement from the developers in full:
We are please to announce that the game will officially release on November 10, 2023 without any further delay. We understand that many of you have been eagerly waiting for the release of this game, and we want to thank you for your patience and support throughout the development process.
We have been working hard to ensure that the game meets our high standards, and we are confident that it will be worth the wait. As we get closer to the release date, we will be conducting a beta test for the game. This will give players the opportunity to try out the game before it is released and provide valuable feedback that we can use to improve the final product.
We will provide more details on the beta test as we approach the release date, so be sure to stay tuned for updates. We look forward to sharing game with you and hope you will enjoy playing it as much as we have enjoyed creating it.
Hopefully, this is the last time that we're writing about The Day Before's release date. It's certainly been a rollercoaster ride for this title, who many compare to The Division, The Last of Us and other games on the market.
The game was subject of a large controversy a couple of months ago when the developers decided to delay the release due to issues with The Day Before trademark. It's safe to say that many players did not believe that story so the devs had to prove they are a real studio who are building a real game by sharing behind-the-scenes videos.
All in all, it's certainly a weird one that we'll keep an eye on but if everything that Fntastic showed us so far gets out of the door one day, we're excited to dive into this post-apocalyptic world.
