Here are all the item changes in Teamfight Tactics Set 8. Infinity Edge, Jeweled Gauntlet and Guardbreaker are among the items that are getting changes. Also, Blue Buff is getting a rework.
Riot Games has changed numerous key Teamfight Tactics equipment and components for Set 8, including the Sword and Glove, Infinity Edge, and Jeweled Gauntlet.
Riot has reduced the strength of items while increasing the total power of Set 8 heroes. The team achieved this power boost by including two Hero Augments for each champion as well as a Threat trait that empowers champions without trait synergy.
Some items were impacted by the Glove and Sword adjustments, while others were nerfed or tweaked somewhat. Watch out for the Infinity Edge, Jeweled Gauntlet, Giant Slayer, and Guardbreaker.
One of the most significant TFT Set 8 item modifications is that abilities can now critically strike. The item increases attack damage by 25% and critical strike probability by 35%. The Set Eight item update to Infinity Edge eliminates the IE/Jeweled Gauntlet combination.
According to Mortdog, Giant Slayer now grants AD and AP rather than percent damage up front. The item is still useful for champions with high attack damage and ability power.
The item increases base attack damage by 20% and ability power by 20%. Attacks and abilities continue to deliver 30% greater damage to foes with over 1,600 health.
Jeweled Gauntlet is now the AP version of Infinity Edge. It grants a total of 25 ability power and 35 % chance of a critical strike.
Belt and Glove now combine to become the TFT Set 8 item Guardbreaker, which replaces Banshee's Claw. The new item increases AD, AP, and the likelihood of a critical strike. When attempting to get the 100 % crit rate, Guardbreaker pairs nicely with gear such as Jeweled Gauntlet.
Champions with shields are likewise punished by the Guardbreaker item. When a protected enemy is damaged, the item bearer does 25% extra damage for three seconds.
In addition, Blue Buff suffered a rework, Spear of Shojin, and Deathblade also received some minor changes. Here are all of the other item changes:
Deathblade now does 60% more AD damage and gives 25/45/65 attack damage. Champions with strong attack speed and attack damage numbers, such as Set 8 Sureshot units, should be equipped with a Deathblade.
Spear of Shojin
Spear of Shojin possesses 15 ability power and grants the wielder AP right away. And every third attack from a champion wielding the Spear of Shojin recovers 20 more mana.
Blue Buff's additional ability power has been lowered from 20 to 15. The holder's mana will be reduced by 10. The unit equipped with Blue Buff obtains 10 mana if the possessor achieves one takedown within three seconds of casting.
Protector's Vow provides 15 more beginning mana (30 in total). Gain a 25% maximum health shield that lasts up to five seconds and offers 35 armor and magic resistance for the duration of the conflict that round once per combat at 40% health.
