Angry Bulls Studio announced their take on post-apocalyptic survival RPG, Survive the Fall, and released a trailer that showcases some features as well as gameplay.

Apocalypse in Survive the Fall didn't happen due to a nuclear war, which we've seen a few times in similar games, nor a zombie outbreak. Because the apocalypse in Survive the Fall was caused by an asteroid, the Earth has gone through numerous changes in quick succession, but the living conditions seem to have improved over the years.

However, the game does borrow from previous titles with both of those settings as there seem to be several points of inspiration from the Wasteland/ Fallout series crossed over with survival elements from State of Decay.

The Wasteland and Fallout part can be seen in the isometric perspective, turn-based combat and some RPG elements, with a dialogue system that looks a lot like the one used in Wasteland 3.

Meanwhile, you will also be responsible for a group of survivors so you will need to make a settlement that can sustain life and defend itself, not unlike the ones we made in State of Decay.

There is a hint we will encounter more than just human survivors since the asteroid "left something more than a hole in the earth" but we will have to wait and see as the game is set to release in 2022, with PC taking the first turn.
