Rogue Games announced the details of the Super Impossible Road re-relase which is coming in just a few weeks, beefed up for the new consoles.
Rogue Games revealed that Super Impossible Road will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. The price tag will be $19.99.
When this happens, the game will receive cross-play support and the multiplayer will be available on all modern platforms, including the aforementioned consoles, PC, Switch and mobile. However, the mobile version is playable only through Apple Arcade. Meanwhile, the game is available on Steam and EGS on PC.
If you're not up to cosmic speed, the game is all about racing balls in space on vertigo-inducing tracks. The trailer below will provide more context on just how dizzy you might go during the high-speed races.
Cheating is encouraged in the bounds of the game, meaning you should take shortcuts anywhere where it's possible, not install third-party software to ruin everyone's day.
Learning all the shortcuts, however, will be quite the challenge due to the high amount of tracks that are available across alien planets, asteroid fields and various stars.
Multiplayer races can be either local split-screen or up to eight players in online cross-platform competitions. These races will unfold in various game modes, such as Daily Track or even Endless Mode.
High octane racing is fun but it's fair to believe that the true test of skill will be holding your lunch when the races get nutty.
