Steam Awards 2017 are slowly marching towards a grand finale. The preparations kicked off last month. Now it's up to Steam users that picked the nominees to pick a winner in each of the 13 categories. The winners will be announced on 03 January.
Steam Awards 2017 are upon us, and you have until 02 January to cast your vote. Last month, Steam asked its users to nominate games that'll be included in this year's Steam Awards. Your incentive for doing so was a special badge and some extra exp for your Steam profile.
Round one is now over. Round two will have you choose a winner. The nominees have been announced and it is time to vote for your favourite. The winners will be announced on January 3rd on the Steam Awards page .

You'll have 24 hours to vote for each award category. A new category will be available each day at 6:00 PM GMT Here's your schedule and the nominees:
On 21 December, you can vote for the "Choices Matter" award. This one is pretty self explanatory - a game in which you make choices. The nominees are:
-The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
-Divinity: Original Sin 2
-Life is Strange: Before the Storm
-The Walking Dead: A New Frontier
The "Mom's Spaghetti" award will be voted on 22 December. The nominees in this category make you happy, excited and are so intense that they elicit a physical reaction which doesn't necessarily have to be nausea:
-RESIDENT EVIL 7
-The Evil Within 2
On 23 December you'll get to choose a game that is worthy of the "Labor of Love" award. The nominees are games that have been out for a while now, but never lack new content:
-Team Fortress 2
-Titan Quest Anniversary Edition
-Path of Exile
-Crusader Kings II
The "Suspension of Disbelief" award winner will be decided on 24 December. The category instructs you to cast your vote for a game that has a central component that sounds crazy when taken out of concept. Your choices will be:
-Saints Row IV
-South Park the Fractured But Whole
-Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
On Christmas day you'll get to decide who will take home the "The World Is Grim Enough Let's Just All Get Along" award. How fitting, it's almost as if they planned this thing ahead.
The pacifistic nominees are:
-To the Moon
26 December: The "No Apologies" award will be given to a game that most Steam users love unconditionally, and in spite all its flaws:
-Mount & Blade: Warband
-Gothic II: Gold Edition
-The Witcher: Enhanced Edition (The Witcher 1)
Those should keep you busy for a while. I'll see you on Monday the rest of the nominees.
