SMITE's big Mid-Season Update just rolled out and brought a bunch of major changes to the game:
- Stranger Things x SMITE crossover
- Conquest Map Refresh
- Mid-Season core design changes
- ‘Court of Midnight’ event
Players of PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox One X & S, and Nintendo Switch can enjoy the new content, and with Crossplay can even team up with friends from different platforms.
Stranger Things x SMITE crossover
The ancient Gods now have some new heroes and monsters to face off against. Four characters from the Netflix Series, Stranger Things, are now playable in SMITE.
Players can access their psychokinetic powers as Eleven or even wield Chief Hopper's dual revolvers via the Stranger Things Battle Pass. If monsters are more your speed, you have two to choose from: the Demogorgon and the Mind Flayer. The strange crossover was revealed last month in a cinematic trailer.
Each Stranger Things skin brings new models, animations, and visual effects to the existing characters. Eleven and Hopper each have an extra Prestige skin available.
Evolving Conquest Map
SMITE's most competitive mode, Conquest, just got a new update. The new map "Ocean's Fury" was showcased last month in the following video.
SMITE Design Changes
SMITE's latest update has done away with boots, a SMITE staple item. This kicked down a lot of doors that lead to a bunch of new choices in all game modes. Additionally, the first levels now automatically give Movement Speed.
Relics have also been updated and the designers also added a new one for the Supports. The new relic is the Bracer of Radiance.
Many items and Gods have also been updated or reworked from the ground up.
SMITE - Court of Midnight Event
The Court of Midnight brings Morgan Le Fay’s first-ever skin.
There are more new God skins to unlock as well as several fresh questlines to follow, some of which will be free to all players. The quests will reward players with currency and cosmetic items.
