It looks like SEGA could soon announce Sonic Forces 2. The game was seemingly leaked via SEGA's official website where the game was listed for PC, current-gen and next-gen consoles with a 2021 release date.
Despite being called an average and disappointing by many fans and critics, Sonic Forces is seemingly getting a sequel that could be announced very soon. According to a screenshot that was apparently taken on SEGA's official website, Sonic Forces 2 is coming in June 2021 to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
Keep in mind that the listing on the website is no longer there, which could mean that the screenshot is faked or SEGA website admins were quick enough to remove it from the library.
As you can see in the screenshot below, the listing does not have official artwork like Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, which once again suggests that the screenshot could be fake.
For many Sonic fans, this would be pretty disappointing news since the original game wasn't to their liking. On top of this, they have been craving for other Sonic games like Sonic Heroes and Sonic Adventure.
All in all, we'll have to wait and see if this one turns out to be true or fake but we suggest you take it with a huge grain of salt since it's pretty easy to fake such "leaks" using inspect element on browsers.
