BioShock 2022 was leaked a while ago but it possible new leaks might shed some light on the game's setting and more.

BioShock games had numerous unforgettable characters but the cities they were set in played as much of an iconic character as each game's villain and other participants. Rapture was actually good enough to be featured in two BioShock games without people complaining about a stale setting and while Columbia didn't repeat the feat, it was highly memorably in its own right.

Now it appears the devs are looking to push the limits further, should the latest rumours prove to be true. An anonymous account recently appeared on Twitter kept teasing supposed BioShock 2022 info for weeks.

One of the tweets alleged the game will be set in a new dystopian city and it would be developed by " Irrational Games veterans and people who worked on Watch Dogs: Legion, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Mafia 3, Deus Ex: MD ".

The announcement would happen in 2022 so it remains to be seen whether the game would be released in the same year. Either one happening would line up with the previous GeForce Now leak.

Another tweet from the same account supposedly leaked a slide from a game pitching presentation , hinting the setting would be in a dual city, with the halves literally being upside down, relative to each other.

These rumours currently line up with other information that is more credible so we are giving it the benefit of the doubt. On the other hand, keep in mind that none of this can be verified for the time being so take the info with a grain of salt.
