According to the latest rumours, Rockstar and Google will announce Red Dead Redemption 2 for Stadia and PC at Stadia Connect on 19 August 2019. Apparently, the game will arrive to PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive during holiday season.
It's been almost a year since the release of Rockstar's mammoth Red Dead Redemption 2. Even before the game was out for current-gen consoles, rumours were floating around about a potential PC version but unfortunately, Rockstar never officially confirmed anything regarding the PC release.
After the release, the rumours intensified and some reports even claimed that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive, which would certainly be a massive deal for the new launcher.
Furthermore, Rockstar Games logo appeared on Google Stadia reveal earlier this year. It's been confirmed that Rockstar is one of Google's partners, meaning that they are bringing one of their games to Stadia soon.
The latest rumour on Reddit connects all these dots and claims that on 19 August 2019 at Stadia Connect event, Rockstar and Google will apparently reveal the PC and Stadia version of the game. As earlier rumoured, the game will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store and Rockstar Social Club.
Furthermore, rumour claims that Rockstar insider and enthusiast TezFunz2 posted on the GTAForums a short while ago that a PC version and enhanced editor are coming with Rockstart currently discussing when would be a good time to release them. Apparently, the current plan is sometime during the Holiday period (October-December 2019).
Google Stadia release date is set for November 2019 so it wouldn't be surprising if Rockstar decided to have the game ready for launch day, but of course, this is just a guess as we wait for the official confirmation. Hopefully, we'll get one soon.
