Operation Heavy Mettle is bringing many changes to Rainbow Six Siege, from the Frost rework that not many are fans of to the new Korean operator that will rekindle the vertical play meta.
One change that at first flew under the radar for many was the change to the start of a match that made all attackers invincible for the first 10 seconds of the round or until they had entered the building.
Ubisoft did this in an attempt to stop defenders from gaining an unfair advantage in the early start by peeking through one of the building windows and picking off unsuspecting attackers while they are making their way towards the building.
The first thought that came to the players' minds was how Amaru will be treated in this new setup as she can make her way into most sites in a few seconds.
Ubisoft have tackled this issue by stating that the round start invincibility will be disabled if the attackers were to enter the building before the 10-second timer runs out so Amaru would not be able to go on a shooting frenzy while being untargetable and potentially even win rounds due to a feature that is meant to make the game more enjoyable for everyone.
With the start of the new season, Rainbow Six Siege is seeing changes that are looking very promising and many players that had left the game in previous seasons have expressed their interest in returning to it now that the issue that had been terrorising players since year 1 has finally been fixed.
