PUBG Mobile developer announce Unreal Engine 5 RPG Code: To Jin Yong

Chinese developer Lightspeed Studios have just announced their brand new project officially titled Code: To Jin Yong. 

Code: To Jin Yong is an action RPG set in the universe of martial arts novels written by Chinese legendary author Jin Yong. 

The game is planned for a global release but there is no mention of the release date yet which suggests it's still a long way off from launch.

Lightspeed promise a vast open-world to explore and beloved characters from the novels including Yang Guo, Guo Jing and more. 

We also got a proof of concept trailer that features a hectic boss battle and the first look at the game's art style but keep in mind that this is a very early trailer, with a big disclaimer at the bottom saying "This is a demo from R&D engine and does not reflect the quality of the final product."

Speaking about the visuals, Code: To Jin Yong is built in Unreal Engine 5 and Lightspeed say they will be using "the world's most advanced real-time 3D creation tool" so expect some spectacular photorealistic visuals.

As for the story and the setting, Code: To Jin Yong will feature a compelling storyline based on the fan-favourite wuxia series with a bit of suspense, mystery and exploration.

Code: To Jin Yong does not have a release date nor confirmed platforms but we expect it on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
