After years of delays, Pragmata is finally just around the corner, and now it's actually arriving sooner than expected. Capcom have bumped the sci-fi action adventure forward by one week, landing on 17 April 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
The new trailer gives us another look at the game's setting, taking players beyond the corridors of the lunar research station to the moon's surface itself, earth and what appears to be Times Square and a surprisingly lush greenhouse sector hidden within the facility.
For the first time, we got to see the Shelter - Hugh and Diana's base of operations between missions. Here players will encounter Cabin, a standalone support robot that manages various Shelter functions including a stamp club where Cabin Coins can be exchanged for rewards, and a jukebox that unlocks additional music tracks as players progress. It's a small detail, but the kind of character-building touch that suggests Capcom are invested in making the world feel lived-in rather than purely functional.
The Shelter is also where cosmetic items can be equipped, including the extras bundled with the Deluxe Edition's Shelter Variety Pack - additional costumes, a weapon skin, Diana gestures, bonus music, and a collection of artwork.
Pre-orders and a free demo
Pre-orders are open now and include a samurai-themed Neo Bushido outfit for Hugh and a ninja-inspired Neo Kunoichi costume for Diana as a bonus. For those who want a taste before committing, the free Pragmata Sketchbook demo is available right now on PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, Xbox Store, and Steam.
Pragmata launches 17 April 2026. It has been a very long time coming.
