Niantic has recently announced that no less than 23 additional Pokemon will start popping up in Pokemon Go. The new monsters are from the Hoenn region in the Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire video games.
The latest set of Gen 3 Pokemon will include Whismu, Aggron, Trapinch, and Cacnea, all seen in the promo image that Niantic shared along with the announcement. This latest batch of critters is the fourth wave to wash over Pokemon GO since last year's .
The next event will revolve around Dratini. The second Community Day will happen on 24 February and offer triple Stardust as a resource bonus.

From what we could gather from the accompanying artwork, these are some of the 23 Pokemon that you'll encounter after the latest update:

- Aron
- Lairon
- Aggron
- Numel
- Camerupt
- Trapinch
- Vibrava
- Flygon
- Cacnea

- Solrock
