Pokemon Go received a new update, taking it to version 0.61.0 for Android and 1.31.0 for iOS devices. The nests have migrated according to their biweekly schedule.

Pokemon Go got an update to make the 0.59.2 Android version evolve to 0.61.0 for Android and 1.31.0 for iOS devices. Plus, the biweekly schedule of Nests migrating remained intact and it's still happening on schedule.

Update release notes read as follows:

  • Added Traditional Chinese language support.
  • Updated the Pokemon collection screen scroll bar.
  • Various bug fixes.
  • Minor text fixes.

Back to the nests for a second. The latest update changed up the locations of the Pokemon. That means that the 18th Nest migration has started, and it will stir your local Pokemon Go hotspots up a bit.

Migrationary Pokemon are randomly shuffled since the 3rd Great Nest Migration, but don't expect any change logs or graphs as they are quite difficult to make. We can't predict which Pokemon will be relocated and where, but we can predict when the change will occur. The next migration will happen on 20 April.

You're welcome.

Back to the update.

When the APK files get released, eagle-eyed and capable fans pick its metadata apart for some sweet sweet information.

The Silph Road shared their findings on their Reddit page. The hidden features were: a redeem function added to the passcodes; Pokestop reward bubbles re-written; new scrollbar; and some performance upgrades.

They didn't find any Easter specific additions, and the GAME_MASTER was not changed.
