The brand new PlayStation 5 controller DualSense will have an audio jack for headphones, it has been confirmed by PlayStation Product Manager Toshimasa Aoki over at Twitter.
Sony have officially revealed the PlayStation 5 controller named DualSense. It is a brand new design that looks absolutely gorgeous but many players have noticed that an audio jack cannot be seen on the revealed images.
This was hugely disappointing to many players who use the audio jack for their headphones but luckily, it looks like the feature will be included in the new controller and Sony simply forgot to mention it in the reveal.
This was confirmed by PlayStation Product Manager Toshimasa Aoki over at Twitter. When asked if the DualSense will have an audio jack for headphones like DualShock 4, Aoki replied: "Still have an audio jack so you can plug in your own headsets like DS4"
If the Twitter profile does not look legit as it is not verified, we can confirm it is real since it is followed by PlayStation's Shuhei Yoshida, who also tweeted to Aoki after he made a "DuelSence" typo in his earlier tweets.
All in all, it is nice that this has been confirmed since many players have been concerned that Sony decided to remove the audio jack from the new controller, forcing players to use wireless headphones, which is something that would not be accepted lightly.
