Dragon Ball character roster in Jump Force has just got bigger as two new iconic characters- Piccolo and Cell, join previously-announced Goku, Vegeta and Frieza. Rurouni Kenshin's Makoto Shishio and Himura Kenish have also been confirmed.
It looks like there will be no shortage of Dragon Ball characters in the upcoming Jump Force with two new martial arts masters being added to the game. Once Goku's greatest enemy, Piccolo is joined by supervillain Cell in the latest addition to the Jump Force roster.
The information was been revealed by Japanese magazine V-Jump. With these two playable characters, Dragon Ball is set to become the most represented anime in the upcoming Shonen Jump crossover. Piccolo and Cell will join already announced Goku, Vegeta and Frieza.
Bandai Namco are yet to officially confirm roster updates so we're short on details about the new characters. That means we don't know if these characters will come with their different forms and transformations. Previous Dragon Ball characters have been announced with their forms, Goku and Vegeta with their Super Saiyan form and Frieza in his Golden Frieza transformation.
Jump Force roster will also become richer for two Rurouni Kenshin characters. Himura Kenshin and Shishio Makoto. Himura's fighting style will focus on speed abilities while Shishio will bring his signature fire-oriented moves.
These characters will join a huge roster of fighters from various anime and manga franchises such as Yu-Gi-Oh, Naruto, Saint Seiya, One Piece, City Hunter, Bleach and Hunter x Hunter. Bandai Namco promised a totally different experience for their new game, with "previously unseen realistic design" and unique setting.
