Release Date
The Overwatch 2 x Cowboy Bebop crossover is set to launch on March 12, 2024. The release date was confirmed alongside an official trailer, inviting players to celebrate the legendary crew of the Bebop.
Skins
The crossover brings a set of Legendary Skins inspired by Cowboy Bebop characters:
- Spike Spiegel Cassidy
- Faye Valentine Ashe
- Jet Black Mauga
- Ed Sombra
- Ein Wreckingball
All of these skins will be revealed in detail on March 11. Additionally, players will receive the Ein skin as a free unlock, ensuring that everyone can partake in the crossover experience.
Trailer Teaser
The collaboration was teased at the end of the Season 9 launch trailer, where Cassidy appeared on the western-themed Route 66 map.
The iconic horns from Cowboy Bebop’s opening song, “Tank!” confirmed the crossover's theme.
Overwatch 2 Season 9, which began on February 13 with an Eldritch Horror theme and Competitive Play overhaul, sets the stage for this anticipated crossover.
