Downloading it via Steam will update your game to Version 1.26. Team Ninja didn't exactly go overboard with in-game content, but they made sure to keep the balance between content and technical improvements.
The most notable change is reserved for owners of Nvidia's RTX series graphics cards, and Nioh 2: The Complete Edition players will get a chance to test all the figures the graphics card manufacturer has been throwing around.
- “DLSS” added to “Graphic Settings”
- Available for GeForce RTX Series graphics boards
- Please ensure you have the latest drivers
- This setting can be switched outside of missions
It took some time before DLSS hit its stride, but Nioh 2: The Complete Edition owners will find that it's a reliable way to save precious hertz, without any noticeable loss in image quality.
Anyone who's pounced on Nvidia's RTX Series for their ray tracing capabilities probably has DLSS etched into their pillow, for a good reason. Ray tracing is a renowned choker of hardware, which is why every bit of outside help can be the difference between gameplay and saving for another graphics upgrade.
With Nioh 2: The Complete Edition v1.26 update, Team Ninja launched the Dragon Ninja transformation, which can be found by accessing Boons from the Shrine.
They also did a bunch of bug fixes, which you can sift through in the full patch notes on Steam.
