Treyarch are currently investigating new out-of-bounds exploits that appeared on three maps from Black Ops 4's Infected playlist. Arsenal, Frequency and Hacienda maps have been temporarily disabled until Treyarch find the solution.

Earlier this week, Treyarch finally introduced a much requested, fan-favourite mode to Call of Duty Black Ops 4 named the Infected. Of course, many players are loving the returning feature and see it as a proper refreshment to Black Ops 4's playlists but the new mode also brought a couple of issues that resulted in the removal of some maps.

The developer Treyarch, confirmed that out-of-bounds exploits have been discovered on three maps, which some players used to get easy and unfair kills and wins, leaving the opposing team without a chance to come back.

The three maps that are temporarily disabled are Arsenal, Frequency and Hacienda. These will stay out of the Infected playlist until Treyarch find a solution for the exploits. Keep in mind that these maps are still present in every other Black Ops 4 mode, and are only removed from Infected. It is a bit odd that these exploits are only showing up in certain game modes and not all of them though.

Treyarch also confirmed that they are reviewing player reports while they investigate the issue, which could suggest that those who used the exploit to gain an unfair advantage over other players may face consequences.

In other Black Ops 4 news, Treyarch's game design director David Vonderhaar took to Twitter yesterday to discuss some ideas he’s had about Blackout and changes that could be coming soon.

Vonderhaar said that on Blackout's new map Alcatraz, the final collapse kills two-thirds of the players left alive at that point and that this will be changed in the upcoming update. The devs doubled the time it will take to collapse, meaning that the circle will be a lot slower than it is now.

He also said that the team is working on a close button for the stash, to allow you to quickly end looting without walking back away, firing or jumping which are some of the ways to close the stash at the moment.
