During the Capcom TV live stream, the developer showed off some of the new features in Devil May Cry 5. One of them is a new weapon dubbed Devil Breaker which provides Nero with different abilities and tools for combat or traveling.

With just under four months until Devil May Cry 5 release, the developer Capcom started to slowly roll out new footage of the game showing some new ways to deal with demons with a weapon dubbed Devil Breaker.

If the name doesn't ring a bell, Devil Breakers are the artificial arms Nero uses, and as the name suggests they are used to break the demons in a wide variety of ways. Since every Devil Breaker brings different gameplay experience, players will get to chose the one that suits their style the best.

You can use them to slow down time, shoot lasers, heal Nero or give him faster movement using shockwaves. Devil Breakers can also unleash an ultimate attack which will deal greater damage to demons, at the cost of losing the arm and its abilities.

Additionally, Devil May Cry 5 gameplay looks fast and smooth with classic hack and slash style which fans craved for. Hopefully, that will still be the case when we get our hands on the game.

Speaking about the excited fans, Capcom recently announced that Devil May Cry 5 preload is available five months before the game's release.

Players with slow internet connections will certainly appreciate the option even though the game file isn't that big with only 30 GB download size. Capcom will probably update the game multiple times until the release date so we can expect a significantly bigger game file at launch.

The developer also revealed the beefy system requirements and if you're looking forward to smashing demons on PC check the minimum and recommended specs here.

Devil May Cry franchise is also set for another animated series  after the first debuted in 2007. This time the project will be produced by Adi Shankar, the man behind Netflix's Castlevania.

Check out Capcom's live stream here  and fast forward to 2:19:00 when the Demon Breaker gameplay starts.

Devil May Cry 5 is set to release on 8 March 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation4.
